Pet Food Pantry:
Our August pet food pantry is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm and it will again be a drive-thru format. Clients should attend the same time interval they have been given for the past several months and anyone with the 2-4 time frame can attend any time from 8-2. Clients may pick up for others and new visitors are welcome. We ask a $2 fee if clients are able to provide it.
Clients will not have to leave their cars and do not need to bring their empty buckets. We will offer dry dog and cat food, which will be pre-bagged and ready to toss into vehicles. Flea preventative will be available for $2 a dose (limit 5) and cat litter may be available depending on supply.
The Indiana House Rabbit Society will also have rabbit supplies ready for clients as usual.
Warehouse Open Hours:
Our Sunday warehouse hours are back in business. Please note the time change – hours are from 12:00-3:00 pm on Sundays and Wednesdays from 3:00-6:00 pm. Clients will not enter the warehouse. We will gather/share information via our Ring doorbell and bring any supplies needed to clients in their cars.
We are gladly accepting donations of food and/or new used or new supplies during our open hours.
Regular scheduling and transport resumed in June.
Fence projects resumed in June. We are working to ramp up projects to meet the high demand.
Proactive outreach resumed in July. Also, we are assisting Indianapolis Animal Care Services officers with dog neglect cases, as needed.
