Projects
Lots of friendly faces (both human and canine) were at the May pet food pantry. The line formed early and didn’t stop until 2 ½ hours in, then it became more steady throughout the afternoon. Bags of food were flying out of pallets, along with flea preventative, canned food and treats.
In spite of dealing with his own struggles, one of our clients started a trend by paying for the person in line behind him. The next 15 or so people followed suite and payed it forward (or I guess backward really ?) by helping out the person in the car behind them. Every month we also see numerous clients pay more than our standard $2 fee as a donation. Something we really appreciate.
Thanks to all the hard work of FIDO volunteers and staff, another pantry day is done and lots of dogs and cats are well fed.
